The formula is free from parabens, glycerine and propylene glycol, normally found in conventional water-based lubricants. Both parabens and propylene glycol are known irritants and can cause unwanted reactions in many women. Glycerine is a sugar alcohol which provides a good environment for Candida Albicans, the most common fungal organism responsible for vaginal yeast infections.
Swede has lowered the pH to 4.5, which is the average vaginal pH. The formula is condom-safe and can be used with all sex toys.
