Apply the oil to the skin and massage it in long strokes. For a more pleasant experience, massage from the heart outwards rather than towards the heart. Alternate gentle caressing with more vigorous stroking movements and higher pressure to ensure that any tension in the muscles is released.

For an enhanced experience; heat the massage oil in a hot water bath before applying it to the body. Pour the oil you want to use into a small drinking glass and place it in a bowl with some hot water for five minutes. Hot tap water of about 45 degrees Celsius is perfectly sufficient. This will also release some of the essential oils into the air, creating a wonderful atmosphere with the scent you have chosen
