* What is a DENIER?

A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread from which stockings and tights are made.

The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the thinner and more transparent the stocking or tights will be. Conversely, the higher the DENIER number (40, 70, etc.), the less transparent the stocking or tights will be. It will be thicker and less skin will be visible.
