* What is a DENIER?

A DENIER is the unit of measure for the thickness of the thread with which stockings and tights are manufactured.

The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the finer and more transparent the stocking or tight will be. Conversely, the higher the DENIER number (40, 70, etc.), the more transparent the stocking or tight will be. It will be thicker and less skin will be visible.
