* What is a DENIER?
A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread from which stockings and tights are made.
The lower the DENIER number 8, 10, 15, 20 etc. the thinner and more transparent the stocking or panty. On the contrary, the higher the number 40, 70 etc. the thicker the skin and the less visible the skin.
On the other hand, there are opaque microfibre tights and stockings, in 50 and 100 denier, where the skin is barely visible. Its use is common in autumn and winter.
Tights and stockings with a low DEN number are usually used for the spring-summer season. The rest can be used all year round, for example for ceremonies, as the stockings look more elegant due to their thin form.
High numbers, 40, 70..., are usually used for autumn-winter.
