* What is a DENIER?
A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread from which stockings and tights are made.
The lower the DENIER number 8, 10, 15, 20 etc. the thinner and more transparent the stocking or pantyhose. On the contrary, the higher the number 40, 70 etc. the thicker the skin and the less visible the skin.
On the other hand, there are opaque microfibre tights and pantyhose, in 50 and 100 den, where the skin is barely visible. Its use is common in autumn and winter.
Pantyhose and tights with a low DEN number are usually used for the spring-summer season. The rest can be used all year round, for example for ceremonies, as the thin shape of the stockings makes them appear more elegant.
High numbers, 40, 70..., are usually used for autumn-winter.
