* What is a DENIER?

A DENIER is the unit of measure for the thickness of the thread used to make stockings and tights.

The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the thinner and more transparent the stocking or tights will be. Conversely, the higher the DENIER number (40, 70, etc.), the more opaque the stocking or tights will be. It will be thicker and less skin will be visible.
