* What is a DENIER?

A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread used to make stockings and tights.

The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the thinner and more transparent the stocking or tights. Conversely, the higher the DENIER number (40, 70, etc.), the thicker the stocking or tights, and less skin is visible.
