* What is a DENIER?

A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread used to make stockings and tights.

The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the thinner and more transparent the stocking or tight will be. Conversely, the higher the DENIER number (40, 70, etc.), the less transparent the stocking or tight will be. It will be thicker, and less skin will be visible.
