* What is a DENIER?

A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread from which stockings and pantyhose are made.

The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the thinner and more transparent the stocking or pantyhose. Conversely, the higher the DENIER number (40, 70, etc.), the more transparent the stocking or pantyhose. It is thicker and less skin is visible.
